Movie synopsis:
Rita Mora Castro, an overlooked but brilliant lawyer in Mexico, defends a high-profile murder case, then gets an unexpected call from cartel boss Juan "Manitas" Del Monte, who seeks her help with a deeply personal transformation. Rita agrees, and after a life-changing journey, Manitas becomes Emilia Pérez and leaves her past behind.
